Sabina Perry was Born in Canada, she lives and works as a dancer, choreographer and performer in Cologne, she is a founding member of the MichaelDouglas Kollektiv, currently based in the Atelier Haus “Quartier Am Hafen”.
After her education at the National Ballet School and the School of Toronto Dance Theater in Canada, she continued to study at the Rotterdam Dance Academy.
She joined “De Meekers Uitgesproken Dans” after her graduation in 2004 and became an independent artist in 2007 and began collaborating with many international dance artists. In the last years she has performed and created works with Lucas Jervais, Douglas Bateman, Kalpana Raghuraman, Stefan Dreher and Tony Rizzi.
As a choreographer she has created pieces for Open Dans Festival, De Meekers Uitgesproken Dans, Bright Nights and Katalyst Festival. Since 2014 she is resident choreographer at the Schauspiel Köln and has choreographed numerous productions there, Including Hamlet, Geschichten aus dem Wiener Wald and Parzival.
